Woodstock Childcare Centre

Update: We have sent our child to the centre for almost 2 months now, and the centre, the management and the teachers have simply been a dream find. I can write an essay on the little details but will summarise to save everyone some time: *our child (2.5 years old) cried like crazy (I mean crazy) the first few times visiting *everyone from management to the canteen lady were soooo friendly and patient towards him, slowly making him feel more and more comfortable (Ms Susan, Bianca, Mercy, Be, Sepi, Adrienne, even Maite - thank u for being patient with both our son and his mom lol) *there was an issue with another child that's to no fault of the centre's. Instead of ignoring it (which would've been the easy thing to do), the centre was more than accomodating to our needs, which confirmed our belief of when we first visited the centre that this child care is a special place *in terms of learning and socialising, we were surprised by how much he did/learnt in just a few weeks (eating by himself, napping, saying hello and goodbye to people etc). Things u can't learn at home Sorry I did end up writing a bit of an essay, but overall it's just a really loving and family friendly place to be. 5 STARS Post from August 2022: I am just posting this because I am surprised by the google review rating. This is by far the best centre I've seen in Burwood in terms of balance (we went around to see about 10 in two days). It is definitely better than some of the higher rated ones (usually google is spot on but not in this case) I will revisit this post once my kid goes there for 6months+

If your child has special needs l would suggest to look elsewhere. We were treated extremely poorly by the centre management team. Over the past year we hadnt received any negative feedback or behavioural issues regarding our son. Though we were told they could no longer sustain our sons care on his permanent days due to an influx of children in his room. In addition we had engaged all of our sons Allied health professionals to the centre, though these services werent utilised. Dismissing, excluding and filtering out a child without no substantial evidence is a Grey area and a major concern of breaches.

I am so happy with my decision to send my child to Woodstock. I was so nervous in the beginning as my kid was only 8 months old when he started but the educators have been so attentive caring that I soon felt relaxed. All of the staff are so friendly and my child shares special bond with couple of them. I am glad my baby was in safe hands. Thank you so much Woodstock

Both of my children were care for at Woodstock Burwood Centre over the last 5 years. They were always happy and excited to go in the morning. The staffs, educators and management are super friendly and responsive. They do show their care and have passionate in this industry. I could really feel the bonding between the children and their educators. We were very happy with the activities and preschool programs, and we were constantly given feedbacks on how our children develop. The Centre is always clean and had high hygiene standard during COVID period. They have great facilities and serve really nice food. I cannot recommand it more. I just wish them a continue success and bring great memories to more children.
