Aurae Architecture

Auraes professionalism started showing itself from the start of their engagement as our architects. Eliza gave me a questionnaire which included the very interesting question of what we liked and disliked about our current house. Eliza also sent us Councils Development Control Code showing what the design issues were. We gave Eliza a floor plan for a similar house in the street but I was pleasantly surprised that she came up with a better house design within the same Floor Space Ratio and site dimensions. We had a number of one on one design discussions with Eliza and it was a great opportunity to discuss how to design our dream house, a once in a lifetime opportunity. Eliza has liaised very well with the interior designer and the builder and Council. She has been innovative in getting the best design outcome from constraints imposed by Council. Eliza also organised competitive quotes from consultants. We believe Aurae is very reasonably priced in relation to the professionalism of their services. We have extended Auraes initial design contract twice, in relation to also submitting the Development Application to Council and ongoing liaison and site inspections during the build. We had been wanting to get a desk and shelving/storage built into our study nook area for a long time, but no one had been able to give us what we were after. Eliza was very innovative and made the best use of an awkward corner, and has really added value to our apartment. She worked with us so patiently to ensure the style was exactly what we were after and was so wonderful and ensuring it fell into the budget range we had. We are so glad we didn't rush into getting something we didn't really like and that we waited to find Eliza. Thank you!

Aurae are an amazing team! They listened, understood our requirements and then came up with innovative, creative ideas to make the most of our north-east light. Their attention to detail is especially important in thinking through the impact of each decision. We can't wait to start work on transforming our cottage.

Following the purchase of our first apartment, we were at a loss as to where to start when it came to homewares and furniture. We engaged with Aurae Design and were blown away by the stylish and comprehensive suggestions they provided.
