Unfortunately my experience here hasnt been a pleasant one. I had my timing belt/water pump changed on a low km Alfa and my car hasnt been the same since. Ive returned 3xs and they claim nothing is wrong with the car and the belt will settle. The sound & performance is terrible. Ive posted about this in the Alfa Forum Facebook group and several mechanics have said that there is no such thing as a timing belt having to settle in modern Alfas. They have either not changed the tensioners or have no experience in adjusting the belt to the adequate level other mechanics words, not mine. Im in discussions with fair trading NSW as I will have to take this to be repaired by another mechanic. Very unfortunate as they seem to be nice people at face value not sure what the issue is.
