Unless you have no other option, DO NOT see Dr Danny Tang as your designated workers comp GP - ALWAYS ALWAYS go back to your own family GP (unless Dr Tang just happens to be your family GP lol)!!! In my case he more or less ended up siding with my employer's insurance and didn't approve for the full spinal MRI - only the cervical portion. He does the bare minimum and just makes easy money off workers comp patients - a phone call infrequently and off a blocked number and takes forever to get back to you. I ended up having to beg to see him face to face at his Patrick St Medical Centre clinic and even so the wait was a long time. He downplays your concerns and talks down on you as well. On that note as well, if you do happen to have Dr Tang as your WC GP and he needs to refer you to a physio for necessary treatment, ALWAYS ALWAYS have your own or find a reputable one on your own end. The physio Dr Tang referred me (Nathan) to was just a cash cow and always put the fear of God into me - insisting I needed to see him every week and did very little to improve my condition etc etc. Nathan was also absolutely sloppy on at least two occasions and had forgotten I made appointments for him to see me at my house and provide treatment (he is a mobile physio) - which meant I was forced to take time off work to see Nathan at the clinic the following day. I even asked to be referred to another physio local to me especially as Nathan was been sloppy and his work wasn't improving my rehab and Dr Tang refused outright. The only upside to this experience was that I saw just how ugly the medical system can be (especially in WC land) and how one should advocate for themselves and seek second opinions etc. It has been several years since my WC case was closed and being discharged from Dr Tang's care was the best thing that had happened - I was able to do some EP rehab on my own and recovered enough to the point Dr Tang's calls were futile and no longer needed. I have since found a new physio who have given me the support and attention I need medically on an as needs basis and I am so grateful for it especially after my traumatic experience with Dr Tang and his physio gave me the bad and the ugly of the medical world!!!!

I have received expert care throughout my experience with Patrick St Medical Centre. Dr Gao and Dr Tang are exceptional -thorough professionals, patiently sharing their care and expertise, often going the extra mile in support of patient care and well being. The support staff are wonderful - kind, personable, caring, patient, efficient and timely.
