Lotus Foreign Exchange - Blacktown Branch

On 30 December I went to Lotus exchange at Westpoint Blacktown. I saw on the display board located outside this Lotus exchange, the buying rate from AUD to Indian Rupees which was AUD 1=52.20. The lady at the counter told me her computer only showing,1Aud =Rs.52.15. I asked her why is the currency exchange rate listed on the outside of her office shows different amount. She replied there is a technical problems to update and match the same price. I told her I will come back later. But I returned after 5 minutes and now her computer was showing 1Aud as Rs. 52.13 but the exchange rate on the display board hasn't changed to be consistent with the exchange rate in this computer system. So customers beware to check the exchange rate on the display board and what is in their system.

Such a SCAMMER! Went to this branch and exchanged my USD to AUD which was 300 USD and the amount to AUD is 410.7. Good thing I counted my money before I left the counter because she only gave me 310.7 AUD so I went back to the window and told her about it and she immediately gave another 100. Was looking at her and pretending that shes doing something on the computer but she couldnt even look back.

Pathetic service to say the least. The counter agent lacks knowledge and is not helpful. Phone calls are never answered and you have to pay a visit to Wesrpoint Blacktown just to find out the exchange rate.

They give old US currency and they don't buy it back when you discover it can't be used overseas. Avoid dealing with them. And be careful to ask about these things.
