I've had nothing but great service from BCC. They may not be able to help with everything but at least they listen and liaise with relevant departments to get needs met. I reckon they'd get thousands of requests a month.

Non existent online services. For anything worth your time, you have to pick up the phone to request anything. Otherwise, if you do go ahead and create a service request, it gets lost in limbo, and staff are completely clueless about it. When you do of course end up on the phone to ask why the whole street's garbage hasn't been picked up for a whole week already past collection day, or to ask for replacement bins, because of their very "gentle" and "considerate" drivers smashing yours, you get a 'not my problem, we'll be sure to raise this to drivers' response, and wait some more for an eventual fix.

It's been a month since I am dealing with Blacktown council. I already have a pretty disappointing experience dealing with the council over the phone/email just to get a reply. Sometimes, their phone number does not work. So, other than sending an email, there is a rare chance that I would get an answer. I have to call them numerous times after waiting for weeks just to hear that a form needs to be filled out with an application fee! Seriously! Starting from customer service representatives to each department, if this is the way they attend to priority queries, it's sheer disappointment.

The worst council to ever exist. Their workers broke the tap to my front yard and they were confronted. I messaged the council and they said I needed proof of their worker doing so. I sent them a video and photo of my broken tap and apparently it was not enough proof. This council never takes responsibility for anything, the roads are another subject
