I engaged with Qonstruct for my 2 story extension job back September 2022, and I am very happy with the job they completed, Eddy and Ramzi are both polite and professional, nothing is too much hassle for them, most importantly I have not received any unreasonable charge or variations throughout the whole job, which keeps the job under my budget. I would recommend anyone who wants to do reno, extension, new building jobs to them in the future.

Ramzi and Eddy are outstanding construction professionals. It has been an absolute pleasure to have them work on our house the last 6 months and we will use them again, no hesitation at all. I would give 6 stars if Google allowed that. Here's our story and all the key things that we were really impressed with. Came into contact with Ramzi by word of mouth from my neighbour, and then met Eddy too. From the first meetings with the guys I was impressed. Their level of care and attention to detail was incredible. Such was the detail and focus they brought, it felt more like talking to surgeons before major surgery. I told my wife that I had a good gut feel that these were the guys for us, and she promptly told me to "sign them up before they take another job". My wife then met Ramzi and Eddy too, and was equally impressed. We signed the contract and it was all systems go. Six months later, we have a new kitchen, 3 new bathrooms, new laundry, new flooring throughout the house, and fresh painting. Here's what I've really valued: 1. Attention to detail: the attention to detail shown prior to signing the contract in the design and consultation phase translated to the construction phase. Little details were always checked to make sure I was happy. 2. All variations were treated with integrity and transparency. There were never any nasty surprises on cost and I was always fully across what the cost impact was. 3. Integrity and scope of advice: I appreciated that they didn't always tell us what we wanted to hear. They had the courage to say "waste of your money...", even when we had our heart set on something (not easy to do). On the other hand, when we thought something didn't seem worth it, they respectfully encouraged us to think about it again because they thought it was worth it. Followed their advice and haven't regretted it. I respected too that they have knowledge in both the high end technical side (like building codes and standards) but also the day to day practical side too (good brands v bad brands, recommended suppliers, what works / doesn't work when designing kitchens / bathrooms etc). 4. Communication, communication, communication: I NEVER (no exaggeration) had to chase up or ask what was happening next. Was always told upfront where things were at. 5. Ruthlessly efficient. I say "ruthless" in a good way. No mucking around, no nonsense, project managed brilliantly. The guys had multiple subcontractors on site some days and it felt like not a single day was wasted. They were always planning ahead and knew what was around the corner. 6. Down to earth and very approachable: despite their knowledge and quality of work, there's no ego to them. They were generous in giving time to answer questions (I asked a lot of questions). They were even happy to share with me some little tips / traps to avoid for other parts of the renovations I was working on myself. They are "old school" in that they have a real customer service ethic, getting great satisfaction from doing a good job, and they don't get a big head about it. 7. A good network of subcontractors: I had some contact with the subcontractors when Ramzi and Eddy were talking / working with them or when I ran into them when they were there on site. Ramzi and Eddy don't just get their "mates" - I can tell that they've carefully vetted and selected their subcontractors, and all of them were very good. Appropriate supervision and monitoring of the subcontractors took place at all times. 8. Quality of work: see photos for a couple of examples. We are thrilled with the results. Ramzi and Eddy are perfectionists, the care and attention to detail is there for us to see each day. In summary, we couldn't be happier. Next time I would build from scratch with these guys. I recommend them without hesitation. Thank you Ramzi and Eddy you have some loyal customers for life, small building jobs or large!
