Alex from Mission Australia is honestly the sweetest kindest humans to walk this earth. She is constantly going out of her way to look after me in my current situations and always has my best interest at heart. There has been messes i really thought i couldnt get out of but alex steps in does what she does best. Cant thank her enough!

Rent deductions did not automatically increase as authorised. Eviction letter sent as a result - upon checking my account, my non-rent (water) account was also in arrears due to a $560 charge of 'Property Damage.' This account was in credit before this. Calling the manager who signed the eviction letter, I was verbally told that I installed a non-compliant door handle. When I advised that tradesmen came to change every single units' door handles, I was told that I "wouldn't be able to prove it wasn't my damage." I offered to deliver a written letter with my neighbours signatures, and the charge was dropped. Upon talking to my neighbours anyway, they advised me this is frequently a problem for them - surprising me as they're all older, long-term tenants (Mission doesn't care, apparently). For a charity organisation which purports - or at least utilises the marketability of - Christian values, Mission Australia Housing does not live up to its name. Your company will earn nothing but money and shame in the community until the day it stands for something - in the market or the bigger picture. Enjoy that retirement doing whatever it is that you need to enjoy so badly. Then, God will ask you to pay in different currency - but worry about that bit when you get there (we only ever do) ;) Involved staff: Alexandria Mamo (Housing Manager) Management Team (is there one, or is it just some ugly-hearted mammal in an office alone?)
