Leah Jay - Lake Macquarie

They have been nothing but a nightmare. Left me without water for ten weeks, then refused to pay up for the repairs I finally did myself. They eventually offered to pay for the parts but not my time, as if that's fair. Had my outgoing inspection on Tuesday, they forgot to book it in and didn't show up. Finally got someone there over an hour late, they rushed the inspection and had no paperwork or anything. They took the keys and gave me no evidence this inspection was even done. Almost a week later I have no idea where my bond is, when it'll be returned, or where they are sending it. The property manager is refusing to answer texts or calls and the office just says "We'll pass a message on" but nobody calls me. They are a complete and utter JOKE. Do not patronise this business, they are unbelievably hopeless.

Service from Leah Jay was below what they usually provide for the back half of last year. We have been working with our new property manager to get back on track and things are heading in the right direction now.

We had a terrible experience with our last rental property. Our agents kept changing, they put the rent up from $570 to $750 per week (and then tried increasing it more right before we moved out), and after 20+ hours cleaning every inch of the house they still made us pay for professional cleaners when we moved out. I tried contacting HR but was ignored. One of the most stressful experiences of my life. Don't put yourself through it!
