Able Fire Protection Services

It is hard these days to write a comprehensively positive review but this was our recent experience with Able Fire (Feb 2019). We live in a unit on Norther Beaches and for specific reason had to install an extra lock on the inside of the main fire door to the unit. Little we knew that our little job made the (new) fire inspecting company declare the door not fire proof --> no fire insurance certificate --> no building insurance. the same (new) fire inspecting company also quoted the cost to replace the door (yes! could not be replaced for a 1sq cm job!) at 2.5k. Being not keen on it I searched local fire door company and came across Able Fire. Not only they understood the problem but were able to get us a door just before the expiry of the building insurance. And for 20% less than the (new) fire inspecting company. I am in no position to judge the quality of a fire door, but....it looks the same, passes the same tests, and 'feels' the same as our neighbour's. So full marks and many thanks to Able Fire Protection Services for a job well done, on time, professionally (there was no clean up or mess after installation) and under budget. Definitely worth contacting them
