I would like to highlight a money scam by an educational consultant Muhammad Rafi. Mr. Rafi is a Director of Migration Corp Australia Pty Ltd located at Suite 1A, 40 Raymond Street, Bankstown, Sydney, NSW, 2200, AUSTRALIA). I was in Sydney when I got admission to the Master of Project Management and Business in APIC college Sydney through Mr. Rafi. Mr. Rafi is a registered agent on the APIC college website. I started my degree in January 2021 and now I am in the last semester. Normally consultants do offer fee concessions on tuition fees to their clients. Mr. Rafi offered me a 10% concession on the full tuition fee. My full tuition fee for 2 years was $AU 33,627 (each semester $AU 8,406.75) and fee concession according to 10% is $AU 3,362.70. Mr. Rafi told me that you have to deposit each semester fee in full ($AU 8,406.75) through me and after that I will send you the 10 % cash back ($AU 840.60) every semester to your account and this is how fee concession thing will work. After listening to Mr. Rafi, I said to him that I will take all my cashback in the last semester. Upon which he agreed. I also requested him to send me an email regarding the cashback details so that I have proof of this conversation. To cut the long story short, I got busy with studies and my job, and havent got any email from Mr. Rafi, despite reminding him several times. Now I am in my last semester and Mr. Rafi only transferred me $AU 1,231.01. Now he says that I told you 10% fee concession on 1-year tuition fee only and you can check with other consultants as well. After listening to Mr. Rafi, I talk to two more APIC college registered agents pretending to be a new admission and they offered me a 10% discount on the full tuition fee. I visited his office last week with my uncle and he changed his whole story but still didn't pay the rest of the money.
