Enjoyed the park. But the connecting bridge that makes the south and north end connect has been gone for almost a year and no sign of it being repaired. A lot of locals used this to get to Bankstown shops

I discovered theres quite a few entrances to the park and if walking theres a long nature path/walkway after the field that connects to an off leash dog park, has a couple of little bridges and also connects to a childrens playground. Theres also a train track which used to be a train ride for children - would be nice if it was restored. The dog park is fenced off with a water bubbler and a sheltered area, lots of space for the dogs to run around and chase each other. Scar had great fun and met quite a few new friends. The childrens park is nice as well with a variety of equipment n well attended grounds. Havent gone further but pathway keeps going. The walkway is parallel to Marshall Street - starting from Bankstown City Gardens all the way to Hoskins Reserve. Theres an entrance at MacCauley Avenue or you can join the walkway from the very end of De Witt Street but there is no parking. Dog Park gets pretty muddy when its been raining !!
