great share portions, the cabbage salad is delicious with the ribs Kim seated and took our orders tonight; A+ customer service and great with children too ; such a sweet professional young lady always book your table because this place can get busy on the weekends!

Firstly - the food and drinks were very good. The portion sizes are generous and the food is rich. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to try German food. That said, the service was somewhat questionable. We were advised that we may not be seated in the carriage as all the tables were all occupied. However, upon entering the carriage, we noticed that two tables were empty and by the time we ordered our drinks, two more tables were cleared. The lady looking after our table was polite but seemed frazzled. Everything was fine until we had finished our dessert and were sipping on our drinks. By this stage the carriage was almost empty - there was a family occupying a large table at the end of the carriage. The lady cleaning the table next to us asked if she could clear our dessert plates and we said yes. I still had about half of my drink left and was drinking it slowly. Without asking she put her fingers into my drink, then looked at me and said are you done with that? Obviously I was not done, and though I understand it was most likely a mistake, I didnt understand why she had put her fingers into my drink. By that stage my drink was mid air and she offered to give it back to me, but I said that I was done and we got up and left. I dont know if she was in a rush to clean up and get us out of there or what, but the restaurant was still reasonably busy and they were not closing for another hour. It was a disappointing ending to a great meal.

The food and service was excellent, My family of 12 went there for dinner on saturday night and everyone was really happy. We all agreed that we will be going back. Thanks to all the wonderful staff at Hemuts.

The food was amazing, the waitresses were amazing, the venu is amazing. Only let down was drinks coming out after mains and leaving half behind cause we were ready to go.
