Nick and his team recently helped us renovate our place in Ashfield. Nick was always available, knowledgeable and very professional. He ran a tight ship and I was very impressed with his project management. We only had a short amount of time to get a big job done and Nick had things finished before we expected without compromising on quality. The trades he works with are all reliable and do good work. Toured a renovation in Annandale under construction with the intention of examining building details and getting to know the builder. I knew of Nick's reputation for technical excellence. Even so I was supprised at his knowledge and steadfastness in tackling such a challenging project. I left assured that the finished house would be one of the most comfortable, durable and hygienic in the whole Inner West. I departed very impressed; with more than a few new best practices!

We were looking for sustainable options in our knock-down rebuild to minimise our environmental impact. We also wanted to address social sustainability issues to meet our needs as aging owners and also those of our daughter who has a disability. So we decided on a single-storey concept with environmental features such as hempcrete construction, passive heating and cooling, etc. The next challenge was to find an architect and builder who were on the same page. Few were willing to contemplate the use of hempcrete (or even know what it is). We were lucky to get connected with Nick, who introduced us to Tracy our architect. Together Nick and Tracy created a duplex home that meets our needs and which is a delight to live in. Nick also listened to our budgetary constraints, and provided advice as to where we could compromise or contribute ourselves without sacrificing too many features or any quality. Nicks attention to detail is outstanding, both for functionality and aesthetics. For example, he built to precise measurements and built square, which made the fitting of windows, doors, bathroom furniture, etc., so much easier and more precise. As a result the finished appearance is excellent and there is a coherent insulation envelope. Overall, the quality of the build is outstanding.
