Go Natural Timbers

Having phoned ahead to buy a 2.4m wide red gum burl for the asking price of $1,500 I drove for nearly an hour to get to Go Natural Timber. When I arrived I was told by one of the staff that the 2.4m burl had been sold to a guy from Canberra. He then tried to sell me another 2.4m burl for $3,500. Eventually I had to pay $2,400 for the burl which I had agreed to pay $1,500 or spend another hour driving home empty handed. The Canberra story was obviously a lie. Go Natural Timber has some very nice wood but unfortunately some of their staff lack any integrity or dignity and ripped me off $900! I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I went out today after speaking to Rami on the phone who was very helpful. Issac showed Ke around and educated me on the various species and their attributes. Extremely friendly with no expectation for me to purchase; he was just happy to show me around. I didnt end up purchasing anything as I needed to check some measurements. Im planning to dress and finish the wood myself. Isaac took the time to explain some techniques and share his experience. Highly recommend these guys. Ill be back!

Got there via train. Bit of a walk as there are no shortcuts. Staff was very friendly and helpful!
