We drove out to Auburn to try Cook and Co after seeing a TikTok video that featured a particular dish that looked amazing. When we tried to order the dish we were told that they dont actually make it and they only do it for promo on social media. This made us feel that we were lured here under false pretences. We then decided on other meals and ordered. When my food arrived my eggs were severely undercooked. I was quite disturbed as I couldnt believe that a chef would allow that to leave the kitchen. I like runny eggs but this was extreme as the white part of the egg was super runny also. I spoke to a waitress about it and asked if I could instead have scrambled eggs to which she agreed. When she came back, she gave me the same eggs i had returned except they were over cooked this time. The Turkish breakfast was okay minus the eggs. It does not compare to other Turkish breakfast cafes in Sydney and there were a few key items missing that I would expect in a Turkish breakfast. The lentil soup was nice. Overall, would not come back.
