Mongrel Boots

Both soles split open after minimal use.

I have been a loyal customer of your safety boots for the past three years and have been thoroughly impressed with their quality. However, I would like to bring a couple of issues to your attention that I have been experiencing recently. Firstly, I have noticed that the laces tend to break off prematurely due to the metal grooves through which they pass. Even when attempting to tighten the laces after just 5-6 weeks of use, they tend to rip apart. I have tried replacing them with laces from the Blue Steel brand and also with thick leather laces, but they too have not lasted long. I believe that the metal grooves are the root cause of this issue, and I would appreciate it if you could consider changing them to a more durable and suitable alternative. Secondly, the side strip on my boots has stopped functioning after just a few days of use. Upon coming into contact with dirt or mud, the strip no longer sticks back. This is a concerning issue as my boots are not even three months old. I kindly request that you investigate this matter and take the necessary steps to resolve it. I have tried the about very brand over the years. I like styles by Oliver and steel blue but these are Australian. comfortable boots and long lasting. my kids where nothing but mongrels also.

Currently onto my 2nd pair of work boots (one black and one tan). The first pair are still in good nick after years of abuse at work and are now used for odd jobs around the house. Very comfy and tough

I'm on my second pair of super-comfy Mongrel boots and loving them. I have always found Mongrel support to be prompt and generous (got freebies when I asked a question on Facebook). Keep up the great work, Mongrel.
