Been trying to contact branch for 4 days to extend rental, 12 attempts no one picks up phone. Voice mail is some random guys personal number I think, call the main contact centre whose solution is to drive the 1hr journey to the branch and extend - amazing customer service.not!!!

They tried to rent me a car that smelled of horrible perfume, telling me it was to cover some smell. Suggested to me to drive with window open (pouring rain outside). After way too much discussion they gave me a different car. MG Excite is such a bad car, really shouldnt even be available in car rental but my mistake for booking it. To top it off, they didnt care to mention to me, that the return location for domestic had changed (its not at the airport anymore, its close to Blu Emu Parking), adding 30 minutes to my trip, searching the place. Also great that there is als no mention of that on the Europcar website, still leading you to the terminal - unbelievable, given this is already the case for months. Well done Europcar.

Today I was charged $851.42 from the premium cover. Ive signed up for 35 days premium cover which was supposed to be $385. My vehicle was still being repaired after 35days which made me extend the rental for another 30+ days. Though I didnt sign up for premium cover for another 30+ days because it will add up to almost $900. Which was the same amount as the excess fee which is stupid. Though they still charged me $11 per day until the car was returned. What a way to rip people off. Couldve told me to sign another contract to stop the premium fee after 35days but it was left alone for the bill to build up. I got charged an extra $527.09 and the premium ended up become almost the same price as the excess fee if the car was damaged.

I made a booking and arrive to pick up and they refused to honour booking. Will be using more reliable car rental in future. Avoid Europcar

The team at europcar artarmon provided my family with a car for 6 weeks over xmas while my car was being repaired. They were very easy to deal with and the process was hassle free. I had failed to notify them that our insurance company agreed to extend the length of our rental by a few days, however, the team were more than accepting of my error and did not charge. Thanks again. Much appreciated.
