Sold me a load of wet firewood which was massively overpriced, presumably becuse of the extra water weight. Wouldve been nice if he told me the wood wasnt seasoned at all, or atleast responded to me messages and calls.

Bad, wet firewood. Bad service. Bad management. Save yourself the time and money and buy your firewood elsewhere or better yet, buy a saw and cut it yourself.

Prior to the move they actually had useful materials, albeit at somewhat high prices and with grumpy staff. Now they don't even have that. No reason to go here.

Last week I bought a load of firewood from New England Building Recyclers, I was charged $100 for a 2/3 full dual cab ute load of stringybark which I picked up myself. I got it home and spent 2 hours trying to get the fire burning, I went through 5kg of storebought kindling and an entire pack of firelighters (I normally dont have to use firelighters at all). The firewood was obviously not seasoned at all. I contacted the owner about the shotty product and all of my four messages were ignored, read but not responded too. I then left a negative review on their facebook page and the owner lashed out at me calling me incompetent, saying I could not light a fire and denying that I ever tried to contact him, saying that I was instead 'ranting' and making stuff up. The whole experience was very unpleasent and I'll make sure that I never buy firewood from them again, instead buying from a source which I know for a fact seasons' their firewood, such as Ducats Earthmoving.
