Canberra Towbar Fitters

Never purchase anything from Canberra Towbar in particular Stock Crates. We purchased one and its extremely dangerous to transport stock in which is the whole purpose of the Stock trailer. They slide and slip over like they are skating on ice the moment they step in and fall. Your left with injured cattle and cattle that cannot even stand within the trailer. Zoran the Manager said it doesnt come under warranty and cant help us. $13,0000 plus later for a trailer that cannot be used safely for transporting cattle. I was told to take it up with the manufacturer.pffffff the manufacturer is in China.not great customer service especially when they hang up on you. Dont deal with these people.. Consumer Affairs here we come!!!!!!!!

This business helped me soo much. They were efficient, well priced and able to find the time to assist me on something I knew nothing about- tow bars and 4WDs. Aaron went out of his way to help me with an issue I had with my rear bumper purchased elsewhere. Giving expert advice and showing me patience and understanding through a challenging and time constraint period. Highly recommended and very happy with their work and excellent service.

A big well done to the folks at Canberra Towbar Fitters! After much deliberation and some doubt the installation would work, I went ahead and bit the bullet to have a towbar fitted to our Skoda Superb wagon. To say the end result is impressive would be an understatement as those hardworking installers at their Mitchell workshop certainly know their stuff. Being a Skoda with all of its rear sensor tech wizardry, I can say with hand on heart, the wiring (and of course the towbar) works a treat. OK, it is not a fancy Euro style towbar, but a very practical class 4 heavy duty towbar. Hitch removal is also very easy, which is also a plus. By the way, while an aftermarket Euro style towbar would have cost around the same, I wasn't all that confident on purchasing one, having it delivered and then paying and arranging for an installer to fit it, all in advance of course. The cost would have been about the same. Also for balance, a dealer fitted original equipment towbar would have cost around $700+ extra here in Canberra. cheers
