    We selected Dolphin Bathrooms to perform our bathroom renovation after receiving quotes from several companies. We based our selection on a comprehensive review of quoted price, suppliers (Rivoland Tiles and Highgrove Bathrooms), subcontractors and reputation. The dolphin bathrooms crew are very professional and well coordinated as well as being very flexible; they easily adapted to changes in my requirements as the job progressed. Throughout the job, we changed our minds on several things, including: - floor to ceiling tiles in toilet, - adding heated floor to toilet, and - changing configuration of some fittings. The team just got on with it and didn't miss a beat. In addition to the changes, the team had to deal with a large period of stop-work due to COVID impacting our family. The great thing was that the team were back the day after we got the all clear and were back on the job full-time as if nothing had happened. Roy, the company owner, retains a core team of general workmen, capable of completing most tasks, and he assigned two of them to our job. The consistency of having a permanent employee throughout the job was definitely a bonus. Jerry, who has been with the team for over 11 years, always strives for quality in the details and frequently sought to ensure that we were happy with the way the renovation was progressing. In addition to his employees, Roy seems to have attracted a good following of quality sub-contractors who are available at the times required - there was never a day when something wasn't achieved during the renovation. The team were always on time and always showed up ready to work straight away. At the conclusion of the job, Roy personally conducted a walk through at the end of the job. There were several issues discovered during the handover and the team was back the very next day to rectify all identified problems. While Roy seems to be extremely good at project managing the job itself, I would have liked a bit more engagement from Roy, or one of his team, for things like: advice on tile, fittings and fixture selection; authoritative answers to concerns during the job; agreement and provision of a detailed specification before commencing the job; and details about who was turning up to the job site on what day. Mostly this comes down to a lack of communications during the job. Having said that, none of this actually impacted the quality of the finished product and we are extremely happy with the result. We are now planning to renovate our ensuite and will be seeking to engage Dolphin Bathrooms again for this work. Services: Tile work replacement, Bathtub installation, Install flooring, Plumbing fixture installation, Fan installation, Remodeling, Tile work installation, Shower refinishing, Bathtub replacement

    Highly recommend Dolphin Bathrooms. The quality of our main and en-suite renovations was excellent and reasonably priced. The process to obtain the quote was easy with Roy coming out to visit and discuss our renovation plans. He was also very helpful in reviewing the suitability of our chosen materials (fixtures, tiles, etc) and was able to get us a discount on our vanity. Roy was also happy to accommodate our preference to stagger the renovations to ensure we had continued access to a bathroom. Both bathrooms were completed within the expected timeframes and budget, and the team were highly professional and efficient. The team has also continued to be very helpful and responsive after the project was finished - resolving a few very minor issues that we noticed after the bathrooms were completed.
