Canberra Vascular Surgery

They refused to accept the referral from my GP and told me to go to Canberra Hospital. I have maximum private health insurance. At Canberra Hospital I only saw junior doctors. I found people in Sydney who were prepared to treat me. Lousy service. Lousy staff.

I have cancelled my appointment .I found the receptionist rude when I claimed to be a public patient. I was happy to pay for first consult however was told as a public patient I could not come to his rooms. They had no idea when I could get my appointment. Phoned Sydney and it was a different attitude. I will now have an appointment with a Sydney specialist.

I had AAA graft Surgery on 26 July 2021 performed by Alistar Jones and his great team. What outstanding Doctor's and hopital care we have in Australia. Alistar gave me confidence when at times I was crapping myself. After a week in hospital now home and feeling very well. I am 71 years old and Alistar always treated me with a smile and confidence. The whole team of staff who took care of me in National Capital Private Hospital were extremely caring and kind. Dr Neilson took time in his busy schedule to reassure me and was very attentive.
