Mat was hired to diagnosis why the car keep stalling, I though it could be a faulty MAF and supplied a working one and ask him to fit it. He spent 2 1/2 hours and was unable to diagnosis car, or fit the MAF, he advised my wife he didn't have the computer required to diagnosis the car and he couldn't figure it out.
He then charged $340 which included 20 ltrs of petrol, my wife paid cash he said he would email invoice and list of things he had done and tested so we could take it somewhere else. We contacted him a number of times and never received either.
Once I had recovered from my bout of chronic illness my wife replaced the MAF sensor under my instructions which fixed the car, it took my wife 5 - 10 mins and was only 2 Phillips head screws and 1 plug to remove and fit the replacement one. I contacted Mat to discuss and ask for a partial refund but he never came back to me. Service: Auto engine diagnostic
