My partner and I engaged Reine through her previous employer. Our brief was to uplift an ex-government residence into a completely energy efficient design with a small footprint and limited budget - a near impossible feat! I engaged Rein in 2019/2020 on the design of a new house, when she was working for another company. I was a complete novice and Rein guided me through the design and decisions process to achieve a terrific design for my needs, my site and the Canberra climate. She understood what I was looking for very quickly, and she worked with my preferences and decisions. Equally, when I had no idea she proposed ideas and styles that exactly fitted what I liked. She was terrific in designing all the spaces to work together. I would happily engage Rein again, whether it be for a renovation or new build.

We had the privilege of Renee designing our home renovation in 2018-19. She was tasked with the challenge of working within the existing foundation (no extension) of the original home with the view of added features such as a second bathroom, study nook and entry way to name a few all under a tight budget. The home we have now is beyond what we hoped for in that it is very energy efficient. Renee's design choices were farsighted in that what we enjoy today and would not compromise on were not too clear at the time of the design process. Renee steered us away from bad design decisions and guided us throughout the design and build process. She is professional is her service and is an approachable person. She listened to us and had our best interest at the forefront always. In a nutshell, communication was honest and easy making the project smooth. If we were renovate or build another home, we would not hesitate to consult with Renee again.
